Hi everyone !

Can you recommend me use EVC to run vMotion with different CPUs.

I have 3 servers :

- IBM server with CPU intel 2.xenon E7520 1.87GHz

- IBM server with CPU intel 2xXeon 10C E7-4860 2.27Ghz

- HP HP DL580 with CPU intel E7

So I have questions this .

When i config HA cluster to run vMotion.

1. Can IBM server with CPU E7 and HP server with CPU E7 run vMotion ?

2. With 2 version different CPUs are E7000 and E7520 they run vMotion ?

3. Configure VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager then Have 2 Sites to run vMotion ?

And, I have read info of config EVC with http://www.virten.net/2013/04/intel-cpu-evc-matrix/.

So, if have 2 servers with Xeon 30xx Series ( EVC leve 0 ) and Xeon 31xx Series (EVC leve 0 - EVC leve 1).

Can they run vMotion ? if yes , then will run with EVC leve 0 ?

Thank .
