    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How is possible to migrate VMs (2 node Microsoft clusters) with&amp;nbsp;physical RDM and SCSI Controller with Bus Sharing "physical" by HCX ?&amp;nbsp; ( looks like this is not supported ?)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I found some potential described method&amp;nbsp; but used there Hybrid Linked Mode which in Azure VMware Solution not used.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS/solutions/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS.919a954a9b6ca17cdc719ec42cda1401/GUID-E1F09B84241F7DD1DC702613CB717B2C.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS/solutions/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS.919a954a9b6ca17cdc719ec42cda1401/GUID-E1F09B84241F7DD1DC702613CB717B2C.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some alternative tools or methods for migration of that kind of configuration ? The best with low downtime how possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For now what i see&amp;nbsp; is only possible cold migrations ? after reconfigure first RDM to virtual mode or convert to virtual mode &lt;A href="http://www.vmwarearena.com/convert-rdm-to-vmdk/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.vmwarearena.com/convert-rdm-to-vmdk/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;but still not sure how to decrease downtime.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some experiences &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://communities.vmware.com/html/@7651DD0E8772B3B5D93ADA9ABA2E067C/emoticons/1f642.png" alt=":slightly_smiling_face:" title=":slightly_smiling_face:" /&gt; ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Migration of Physical RDM is not supported, that is for sure, for all migrations types. Regardless if is HCX or a "normal" vCenter vMotion.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For there are two options.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 - On destination, create a new SQL server and migrate Data/DB.&lt;BR /&gt;2 - Convert it to VMDK.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using VMware converter or not, you will always have downtime on that SQL server.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
