HA ON ESX 3.0.2

Hi;

after I upgraded from esx 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 the HA failed with shortname error. I added a short name on hosts file but the HA always fails.

is any one had this problem? I ched the log file nothig is showing.

the hosts file on ESX 3.0.2 is case sensitive.

Make sure that you have everything in lower case and in the format of:

then try to configure cluster for HA again. If you have done an upgrade you may need to put your hosts into a NEW cluster and reconfigure for HA.

If your DG is not pingable consider using a das.isolationaddress in the advanced options.
