HOW TO USE IME ON/OFF FOR JAPANESE LANGUAGE

I use JAPANESE LANGUAGE.

MACBOOK

OS 10.4.10

CLIENT OS WINDOWS 2000Server SP4

I use vmware fusion.

But I don't use IME on/off.

How to use this method.

I am using a Japanese Windows Vista on a Japanese MacBook (using the 1.0GA build) and I am using the following keys to change between the IME modes (sadly I cannot test Win2k or WinXP currently):

To change from Romaji to Hiraga Input Mode: Push 「カナ・かな」 key

Change from Hiraga Mode to other Kana Modes: Push 「英数」 key

(ひらがな・全角カタナカ・半角カタカナ・ひらがな等)

Change from any Kana Mode to Romaji Mode: Push 「shift+英数」 keys

I don't know if that is all the combinations, but it's the ones I am using. As for 変換, I don't really know if this key is mapped somewhere, probably one of the VMWare people can shed some light on this.

But my macbook is follows.

Push 「カナ・かな」 key IME change to かな

Push 「英数」 key IME change to カナ

Push 「英数」 key IME change to 半角カナ

Push 「英数」 key IME change to カナ

Push SHIFT「英数」 key IME change to 英数

Push SHIFT「英数」 key IME change to 半角英数

Push SHIFT「英数」 key IME change to 英数

Push SHIFT「カナ・かな」 key IME change to カナ

Push 「カナ・かな」 key IME change to かな

All combination is appear.

たぶん私のテストした時にIMEはちょっと変な状態でした。

今日の朝もう一度同じようなキーを押した時、「シフト＋英数」で全角ロマジと半角ロマジを切り替えられました。あるタイミング私のVMのIMEの状態は可笑しくなったかも知れません。

It seems that during my tests the IME was in a little bit strange state.

After trying the same this morning, the combination of "Shift+英数" allowed me to also change between "Full-Width Romaji" and "Half-Width Romaji" (I somewhat remembered I could do that before, but when posting I didn't somehow notice).
