Fedora 7 installation

Hello,

I just bought Fusion and installed WinXP Pro. Installation was a breeze by using the VMWare converter from a Parallels VM, and I am amazed at the speed of the Fusion VM. Unfortunately I cannot activate this VM since I already did that for the Parallels VM (have to wait for a new Macbook). My hopes now are focused on creating a Fedora 7 VM since that was not succesful with Parallels, after several attempts.

Does anyone know if I can you a .DMG diskimage from a Fedora 7 DVD to create the VM with Fusion, or do I have to convert it to another format (or perhaps use the DVD, which is the least preferable option...).

Anything else to watch out for during install?

Hope to hear from experienced users!

best regards,

Peter

If you download a .iso file of a Fedora 7 cd then you should be able to install easily. By selecting this .iso file as image file to be used by the (virtual) cd-rom drive.
