Has this not been included/solved with RC1?
I still have to launch Parallels so that I can run a 64 bit VM in Fusion RC1, except that I can't as my trial period for Parallels ran out a while ago.

Interesting. I have an older iMac with the core duo processor. I plan on upgrading the processor some day to a core 2 duo and hope that the bug will be fixed by then. Have you filed a bug report yet?

This is not currently fixed in RC1. We are looking for the best way to do this, but it won't be addressed for 1.0 due to the timing. However, it is something we know is important and we will continue to work on a solution.

Thanks for the reply Pat. Its a shame it won't make it into the 1.0 release. I've pre-ordered anyway as I think Fusion is a Fantastic product. I can't justify buying Parallels just so that I can run 64 bit VMs in Fusion.
Linh My: I understand that this bug is an EFI issue. I don't think Apple will sort the bug as they don't supply (support?) the Mac mini with a Core 2 Duo processor.

Agreed about the EFI issue and Apple's likely response. Upgrades do cut into replacement sales.
