Unity - Launch Applications

I've just loaded RC1 and I'm trying Unity again. I didn't like the way it worked in Beta 4, so I'm hoping for some changes here in RC1. Right now I've added an application to my dock, Microsoft Money 2006. This what I did:

1. Booted a bootcamp partition.

2. Launched Microsoft Money 2006

3. Switched to Unity mode.

4. Close "Launch Applications" window

5. Added Microsoft Money 2006 to my Dock

6. Quit Microsoft Money.

Now, at this point, the "Launch Application" window reappears. Why? I would love to turn this off.

Also, if we go further and do:

7. Click on Microsoft Money 2006 in the Dock.

8. Microsoft Money 2006 launches in Unity mode as expected. But the "Launch Application" window also appears. Why?

I really have no use for the "Launch Application" window. I'd prefer if it I could just turn this off and use the "Application" menu from the menubar.

Can we get an option to turn this off?

I also see this behavior when starting Windows apps from the Mac doc. The "Launch Applications" window appears and then, the app that I started appears. Is there a way to turn off the display of the "Launch Applications" window?

The shortcut, command-L for the menu item "Launch" in the Applications menu conflicts with a program that I am running.

Is there any way to change the shortcut to something else such as shift-command-L ?

The main program that I am using VMware for is pretty much useless unless this can be changed.

OS X makes it pretty easy to remap shortcuts: Open System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts > "+" button. Select Fusion as the application, choose Launch as the menu item, and enter your desired shortcut. Note that your suggestion of cmd-shift-L is already taken by the Virtual Machine Library option, so you might want something else.

You'll need to restart Fusion before these changes take effect.

You are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you so much for this solution. It worked perfectly.
