Hi,
I have the WinXP Pro Upgrade CD but I'm having problems installing from the CD. I created the Virtual Machine, loaded the CD and get to where it asks for a previous version of Windows CD to verify. I installed a Win2k and Win98 CD but neither is recognized as a valid CD by the setup program. Both CDs look fine when viewing in Explorer. Any idea what might be wrong or a work around? Thanks.

You need to manually trigger the CD change. Ctrl-Alt to return focus to the host; right-click the CD icon in the bottom right tray of Workstation, and Disconnect. Then switch your CDs or right-click, Edit, and browse to a different ISO image. Then right-click and Connect. Click your mouse back into the guest window, and click the button to proceed.
Thanks, that did it.
