No video when running Virtual Client

I logged into Virtual Client, and when I went to each Virtual Machine and the console tab, I could see nothing. I could still log into those machines via Remote Desktop, so all were funning fine. From Virtual Client, I told it to restart the machine, and video would display while rebooting. Once the machine was back up, the console view would disappear again. I had to restart the ESX 3 server to resolve this.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Gary

Do you have vmware tools installed?

Are 903 and 903 ports opened or ahve you any firewall on client?

VM Ware Tools installed. Reboot of ESX box fixed it, bit I still can't figure out why. Will let it sit today and see if it goes to sleep again tonight. Strange.

No firewall on clients.

Let me know.

It could be some packet loss?

Check network adapters info.

I will also try loading the client and accessing it from a different machine if it happens again. I was in a hurry to get it back up, so I didn't try too many things.

Thanks.
