I am running worskstation 5.5.4. To be able to sync the Treo 770p I had to rebuild the linux kernel and enable usbfs.
If I upgrade to VMware 6.0 do I have to do the same? Any changes in this topic

With WS 6.0 it use a different method to access the USB device to work around the (Stock) SuSE 10.2 not being compiled by default with usbfs support
