Please help - Issue adding disk

I have a VM that is running fine, but when I try to add a 2nd Hard Disk I get "General system error occured: Internal error".

I initially was having this same error when even trying to power it up, but I unconfigured HA & DRS and then reconfigured and it was fine.

Any ideas on why I can't add a 2nd disk? I have plenty to add and can do this for any other VM with no issue.

check the filename of the primary disk on that system and then I would also explore vmfs volume where your VM is stored to make sure there is not another disk file already present in the same directory.

You could also say add existing disk file and see if it shows multiple disk files in that VM's directories. Maybe a failure to add previously created the disk file, but never added it.
