When using VirtualCenter to customize (guest customization rollout) guest TCP/IP configuration, we SHOULD NOT be required to enter a default gateway and DNS server. VirtualCenter will not allow us to leave either of those entries blank. DG and DNS are optional parameters in a TCP/IP configuration! In VC1.x and VC2.x, these are required parameters which is inappropriate.
This is very much an annoyance.
In VC2.5, guest network customization is still requiring a default gateway and DNS server configuration. I feel these shouldn't be required.
