I'm converting a Dell 1950, running win2000 server to virtual machine. Everything work great until I start the converted virtual machine on the VMware Server 1.0.1 (Linux). The virtual machine boots, without any vmware console screen. So when starting the new virtual machine through the VMware console, the virtual machine boots, but no console display. Yes, I can RDP to the server. Yes the VMware display driver is used by the virtual machine (win200) server, checked). Any ideas on how find out what could be the problem?
Thank You
Ralf
You could try reducing the resolution/# of colors on the host Linux system.
How can I do this, don't have a console. Console session will not be affected by changes through a RDP settings.
