virtual center patch applied esx hosts errors

We installed virtual center patch for vi 2.0.1.40644. Install went very smooth. However the ESX hosts are receiving the following errors: Failed to install the virtual center client agent service and Unable to contact a primary HA Agent in cluster Any ideas

did you disable HA/DRS before the upgrade? Stop and restart the vmware-hostd process (service mgmt-vmware restart) on the ESX hosts

In another forum this was discussed We need to manually upgrade host

[wobbly1]

It has been seen that simply restarting the hostd process can cause the upgrade to happen without the need to manually do it.
