I have been toying around int he settings file of my virtual machine but since some time its automatically go into suspend every x minutes. I think this is really annoying, how can I disable this? Or would this be by design?
Sounds like you enabled the ACPI battery information pass-through. By default, Windows will suspend after 5 minutes of inactivity when on battery; you'll probably want to change that in Windows' power management settings.
