I'm getting an Unsupported 16-Bit Application Error.

It won't let me install it at all and I and I have no idea why. This is a new computer with virtualization turned on so I have no idea what to do, any suggestions?

some details would be helpful:

  • which host OS version and build?
  • which VMware Workstation Player version?
  • what's the exact error message (maybe a screenshot can help)?

Current OS Build is 19041.572

Workstation 16 but 15 did the same thing

The exact error messages is "Cannot start or run due to an incompatibility with 64-bit versions of windows. Please contact the software vender to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available." My laptop has Workstation player 15 and it works just fine so I'm confused haha.
