VMs not showing up in Online Entities

Has anyone encounter issue were a VM running 2.18.6 agent wasnt showing up in Online Entities page? Even though the VM is powered and has an IP AppVol Manager Version - 2.18.0 VM - Windows 10 1909 Running VDI agent - Citrix Virtual desktop 1912

I haven't worked with Citrix and Appvolumes zo it could well be this but no idea to be honest.

Only thing I can think of is are these machines domain members? If not they don't show up as active in Appvolumes manager.

You do see the machines in Appvolumes but in Offline mode? What happens if you log into the machine and check the svservce.log file? Normally the reason why Appvolumes cannot connect to the manager should be in there.

I found another post and recommendation was to add the individual appvolume managers behind the Load Balance VIP into agent register as additional managers that it can communicate to. But it wasn't an confirmed fix Do you have any other suggestions or has anyone else encounter those errors before

Check this info, was posted by VentziP​ in another thread, helped me with the 4.1 agent connection issue.

I got my issue resolved. It was related to NTLM authentication and cookie invalid session error.

1. make sure that you have in your LB the persistent profile to use Source IP.

2. In APPvol Manager in Configuration under Advanced Settings I turn on Disable Agent Session Cookies

3. Use this KB to disable NTLM on both managers

4. restart services

After that I can connect without any errors using the LB.
