Install VMware Tools on Cisco Unity server

We have a VMWare host running ESXi 5.1. Cisco Unity server is on this host. The status of VMware Tools is not running (not installed).

Cisco Unity VM OS is Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6 (64bit). I am not familiar with Linux.

Could someone show me the steps to install VMware Tools on this VM please.

If this is part of CUCM then they probably don't support you touching it. You might need to check with Cisco on this before monkeying with it.

If this is a production environment, you should note that no ESXi versions older than 6.5 are supported/updated and you should consider an upgrade.
