Hi guys!
Good work everyone.
I wanted to take the VCA-DBT exam and get the VCA title, but I think the name of the exam has changed. Its new name is VCTA.
Became a VMware Certified Technical Associate.
What are the differences between this and the old exam? What's in the content? And can you offer me a source or a document? Thank you so much
There is no relationship between the old VCA-DBT and the new VCTAs - the VCA is a single broad certification whereas the VCTAs are more technical, each is specific to an area of technology, and suited for those working in Day 2 Operations types of roles.
I blogged about the VCTAs today: VMware Training and Certification: New Certifications - VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)
The VCA-DBT page and information is still available here: VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation 2020
Thank you for the information you provided. It was good to learn this.
Scott - was curious about the DBT training/exam for colleagues, but the link you provided goes to a "VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization 2021" page. Finding a ton of dead-ends on information here... any thoughts or updates on DBT?
Thanks!

That was the right link for VCA-DBT. When the various VCTAs were launched the VCA-DBT remained available, I don’t know for sure but it appears to have been retired.
Scott -- appreciate the quick response...
