I have to save an existing Acer Notebook with a Windows XP to a virtual machine and I as trying to use the VMware vCenter Converter Standalone
for this purpose.
I copied the installer to the Desktop after running it from an external drive failed (I didn't notice that) because I just clicked through and didn't read the first initil failure.
Thus the copying to the Desktop. Anyway, after unpacling and installing the wizard suddelny says:
"The wizard was interrupted before VMware vCenter Converter Standalone could be completely installed."
This is VMware-converter-en-6.2.0-8466193.exe
Clueless at the moment.
