where is the free version of fusion 12 player

I see a lot of reports that Fusion 12 Player is free for individual use, but I can't find a way to get it. Does anyone know how to download it?

Hi,

The download is the same as the professional version, so you can just download the pro version from:

https://www.vmware.com/go/tryfusion

That's also the page where you can start for registering for the Player license.

If you're still having issues after that, then please see this thread:

Hi,

same here, I cannot download it either. Neither with Firefox nor Chrome (cookies accepted, Ad blockers deactivated).

But what is the problem? First I start with:

https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/fusion-evaluation.html

and then after clicking on the link I always com to this page:

https://www.vmware.com/de/try-vmware.html

and when I click on Register for a Personal Use License

I'll be rerouted to the page before. I've registered a German account.

Thanks in advance

Ok, the link to the Fusion Player leads into nirvana,

only the Fusion 12 Pro link under it is working. Maybe you can fix that?

Kind regards

The next problem:

how to get the license?

While installing Fusion 12 I click on Free License Key which again leads to:

https://www.vmware.com/de/try-vmware.html

Again nirvana.

???

Try Private Browsing/Incognito mode. The page isn't localized but our big 'ol web infra is trying to redirect you somewhere within your locale.

Thanks. I could manage it with using Safari, just normal without private mode
