Cannot edit VM with Passtrough-Devices

Hello,

i have installed the newest patch for ESXi6.5 (ESXi650-202007001 / Build  16576891). Since the update i cannot edit VMs with Passtrough-Devices (e.g. FC-Card). Is this a bug in this patch and is it already known and a fix is already in progress?

Many Thanks.

Can you provide information? Are you VM edit setting from vCenter server or directly from ESXi hosts.

Are you getting any error?

Hi,

I'm try to edit the VM from the vSphere WebGUI on the Host - we don't currently use vCenter.

I have attached the error message as a screenshot.

Many Thanks.

Did you try with the VM powered off? is the same behavior?

Maybe you can force the change into the vmx file.
To be honest I don't know  if there is a bug or not related to that. (follow this kb: VMware Knowledge Base ) and always remember to do a backup of the original file just in case.
