Would there be any changes when vMotion is used for a VM with a vNIC connected to a DPortGroup with Promiscuous enabled?
I noticed that the interface (Mgmt) behind the same port takes a few mins to become available (starts to respond again via icmp), it seems due to ARP timing out and thus correcting itself.
If I log in to the VM (via console) and initiate a ping then Mgmt connectivity (inbound) becomes available straightaway. So looks to be something related to GARP with a Promiscuous enabled.
