Is it possible to open incidents directly in Service Now from the VMware Skyline Advisor without vROPS?
I am very interested in how someone implements this (API?)
Hi RomanKn At this time, there is no timeline for delivering this feature within Skyline. Yes, we have a vision for Skyline that would allow it to send information directly to ITSM products, however, it's only a vision at this time. We are currently focusing on delivering increased value through additional Findings & Recommendations and new product support (NSX-T, VCF).
If at any such point we are preparing to deliver this feature within Skyline, and we offer a alpha/beta, we will be sure to take you up on your offer to participate.
We will add your request as an "upvote" to the existing request for this feature. If you have any additional questions, comments, or feedback, please let us know. Thank you.
Hello RomanKn
Welcome to skyline Communities!
Thanks for sharing the feedback, Skyline team have this in vision and this feature will be available in a future version.
As of now, Skyline Advisor doesn't allow opening incident directly for any products.
Skyline API is not public, because of which we would not be able to share the details.
That sounds very good. Is there a timeline?
Can we participate in a beta program?
