Create Process dump from VM Snapshot (.VMSN) file

    Panch26 Lurker

      Hi All,

One of our production VM is hanging frequently due to 100% CPU from one of the application hosted in the server. We have to tried to get Process dump to analyse further but server already hung/unresponsive so we couldn't login to server. For an alternative we have taken the snapshot  and only .VMSN file got generated in the snapshot folder and created the dump from .VMSN file with help of vmss2core.exe utility tool, but this creating only kernel dump (my VM doesn't generate the .VMEM file). May i know is there any way to generate Process dump from VM snapshot(.VMSN) as we captured during the High CPU time
