Hello everyone,
I'm trying to convert a few virtual machines (WS19 and W10) from a ESXi 6.5 host to a ESXi 6.7u2 host using Converter Standalone.
Here's all the info:
Windows 7 VM running on the source host, fresh installed, running as local admin. UAC turned off and firewall off. Running Converter Standalone 6.2.0 - 7348398
Logging as root user on the source host (ESXi 6.5).
Trying to convert powered off machines. They were created from scratch a few weeks ago, no special config.
Converter will see all the VMs, and their power state. But clicking Next gets me the "Unable to obtain hardware information for the selected machine" after a few seconds.
I also tried Powered ON conversion, but I always get authentication problems. I read I need a local admin account, but since there are domain controllers in the lot. I sort of need powered off conversion.
