Unable to convert VM from Player to ESXi: 'Invalid configuration for device '0'.'.

Hello,

I'm trying to convert a VM from a locally installed VMWare Player 15 to a ESXi 6.5 with converter standalone 6.2 build 8466193. It fails with the error

'Invalid configuration for device '0'.'.

From what I've found on Google it's because of a CD-ROM or floppy drive which I've already removed from the VM. But still getting the error. I've further remove all other device which can be removed. I only have 8GB of RAM, 1 Processor, 100GB Harddrive SCSI, and a Display attached but still getting the error. What else can this be?

Thank you

I've found a workaround for this: Convert the machine in running state. That worked.
