Future of vCenter Access without Flash

Currently I configure vCenter 6.7 through all four methods including CLI, vSphere and Web Client and finally VAMI.  What are we supposed to do when Flash Player is no longer available?  What is the replacement for the Web Client?

Our company has flash player locked down now 'so much it's a headache to do updates.  I'm looking forward to this not being an issue any longer.

The HTML5 client has been around for a while now. And Flash is already gone in 7. https://<FQDN>/ui

The HTML5 Client in vCenter comes with 6.5 which was released in 2016 or so.  So fore more than 4 years now there is a alternative to the Flash WebClient.  With vSphere 6.7 the client becomes feature complete and was renamed to vSphere Client (i think).

This doesnt mean that all of the 3rd.Party Vendors offer a HTML5 version of their plugins.

Joerg
