ESXi 6.7 OVA Import Problem

Hi,

I am trying to install a custom xubuntu ova to esxi 6.7 but I am getting an error with different browsers. Error says;

Unknown error

There was an error creating the import specification from the OVF file.

Failed to deploy VM: [missing message value]

In the meanwhile vmkernel.log says;

When I checked NIC settings WOL really looks like disabled but this VM has no relation with these interfaces. Also a core file occures each time I try to import the file under /var/core.

1.33.1

12086396

6.7.0

13006603

Same ova file works in VirtualBox without any problem. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I haven't tried this yet but saw in another forum this worked.  I expect because I have the exact same problem as you (and others) it's a virtual box export you're trying to import into ESXi.
