Add CA Certificate to VMWare Remote Console

Hi,

I have my standalone ESXi Server Version 6.7 U2 VSphere web ui running behind a HTTPS reverse proxy which serves SSL certificates on port 443.

I am forwarding the ports 902 and 903 to the VMWare ESXi hosts, when I connect to the IP where the reverse proxy is running.

I can log in to the Web UI but I cannot connect to the console using Remote Console.

It says SSL handskaking failed or similar.

I think the Remote Console needs the CA certificate of my HTTPS Proxy installed.

Does anyone know how to install this certificate in remote console under Linux (client)?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

ich_rf

No one an idea?

Maybe it's also TLS protocol related, my HTTPS proxy speaks only TLSv1.2 and TLSv.1.3.
