vmhost suddenly cannot do vmotion

one of my vmhost on my data centre cluster suddenly lose connection and all the vm failed over to the other hosts in the cluster.

right now when i try to vmotion back, i get the following error

"The vMotion failed because the destination host did not receive data from the source host on the vMotion network. Please check your vMotion network settings and physical network configuration and ensure they are correct.

Migration [-1062731668:107365708326282233] failed to connect to remote host <192.168.0.110> from host <192.168.0.108>: Host is down.

vMotion migration [-1062731668:107365708326282233] failed to create a connection with remote host <192.168.0.110>: The ESX hosts failed to connect over the VMotion network

The vMotion migrations failed because the ESX hosts were not able to connect over the vMotion network. Check the vMotion network settings and physical network configuration."

i have check the network switch. what should i do ?

Hello, Please check following.

  • vmkping between hosts to their Management IPs
  • vmkping between hosts to their own vMotion IPs
  • vmkping to other hosts vMotion IPs

on the host with the problem, i can see only 1 host in networks.

cannot ping the other hosts in the cluster.

total number of hosts in the cluster should be 3.

seems like the connection to my isci network is down.

i cannot ping my isci switch n storage.

Okay. it show the iscsi vminc is down in vCenter? Can you share the screenshot.

I see vMotion enabled on vmk1, vmk2,vmk3 and vmk4  is there any specific reason? also, in this screen not see the vmnic status is up or down..
