NSX-T Tier-0 HA VIP and static routing question

Hi, I've got an Active/Standby Tier-0 deployment and am wondering about routing when using HA VIP

Right now I've got Uplink1 on Edge1 going to VLAN100 IP 10.0.0.2 and Uplink2 on Edge2 going to VLAN100 IP 10.0.0.3 with a static route to 0.0.0.0/0 10.0.0.1 (upstream router)

I've got 2 SNAT rules for 0.0.0.0/0 10.0.0.2 and 0.0.0.0/0 10.0.0.3

Would I need a third SNAT rule if using HA VIP?

Would I still need the other 2 rules for 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3?

Do I gain anything by defining the HA VIP?

Learning as I go, thanks.

If you're doing A/S T0, then you should be using an HA VIP. That might be, for example, 10.0.0.4/24. If so, you still only configure a single default route on the T0 that points 0.0.0.0/0 to a next hop of 10.0.0.1/24. Upstream, you would only need a single static route directing whatever routable segments to the next hop address of the HA VIP.
