SVGA settings dont show in Guest registry

Hi,

when i set following settings in the VMX file:

svga.graphicsMemoryKB = "2097152"

svga.vramSize = "3145728"

svga.maxHeight = "768"

svga.maxWidth = "1024"

i see in the GUEST - Windows Server 2019 in the registry:

Path:

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000

HardwareInformation.MemorySize 0

Why is there nothing?

Hi,

no, i dont want to increase it.

We are doing an unattended installation of windwos with a special prgramm.

And in the "check_requirements" there is a step checking the registry_key:  HardwareInformation.MemorySize

Only in Windows 2019 Server this key is empty without any value..

when i check in windows server 2008 the value shows below:

So what is it? Is it a VMware driver problem or whatever....i have no idea..

i changed vmx file to autodetecdt = "FALSE" and set VRAM Manually...

but no changes in GUEST Registry with windows server 2019...
