I have a vRA server. ( 10.10.10.10 / https://vra-01.int )
And a domain named "vra-01.ext" has been registered to an external DNS server for external access.
And I set the A Record on "vra-01.ext" as the gateway to the internal server and set NAT at 10.10.10.0.10 on that gateway.
Therefore, when connect to "https://vra-01.ext" from the outside, it can be connect to "https://vra-01.int"
However, if click vRealize Automation Console, the page cannot be reached.
This may be because the URL changes to https://vra-01.int/vcac.
Am I right?
How can I connect to the vRA server from outside network?
I don't want to assign an Public IP to the vRA server...
I was looking for information on the same thing, I ran across some verbiage of assigning a different CNAME inside vRA so that could be your public address and you'd use split DNS so it's resolvable inside and outside.
I haven't tried it but was wondering if things like the Console Proxy work externally now, I seem to recall that trying to connect directly to the VM by name or something rather instead of being proxied through vRA like vCD does.
This is old though:
which vRA version are we talking about here ?
