We had the same problem with some of our USB devices. the problem was related to the version of ESXi. When we upgraded to ESXi 6.7, we could not use those devices anymore, so after many hours of attempts, we finally found out that the problem was the version of the hardware.
ESXi 6.7 could not detect that kind of hardware but ESXi 6.5 was able (we downgraded once to check the possibilities) and then we ordered a new version of that hardware, compatible with ESXi 6.7, from the company.
Ok, so it is a hardware issue? My new Host is actually older than my previous host, but has way more cores and RAM than my old server. Might just migrate this vm back to the old host. Thank you!
