How config routing to run and connect to ORACLE Guest

Hi,

Host: Windows 10

Guest: Windows 10 / Oracle

VMware Workstation: 15.5.1

I ( only ) want to connect from Host to the Oracle DB on Guest,

Config Guest as HOST ONLY

HOST

= VMNet1

192.168.101.0 net

192.168.101.1 as fix  IPV4 address and DNS

GUEST:

192.168.101.10 fix IP4 Address

192.168.101.1   fix  as GateWay

10.100.100.100 LOOPBACK Adapter

The Guest Firewall setting

open Port 1521 TCP + UDP

open Oracle.exe

open TNSLSNR.exe

=> Test connection:

ping from Host to GUEST is working

ping from Guest to Host is working

telnet guest 1521 with NO response

SQL - connect from Host to the Oracle DB  is NOT working

what can I do , to test ?

a) is the config as HOST ONLY the right config for this enviroment

b) other test  to the sql connection ?

thank you & regards

solved it.

HOST ONLY is working correct,

GUEST IP f.ex. 192.168.100.102

need to edit and connect the config of  /etc/hosts

and   the Database - config entries in listener.ora, tnsnames.ora

in the same names and IP
