Every virtual machine's settings dialog is comprised from three groups: System Settings, Removable Devices, Other. Nearly all entries in all these groups e.g. Hard Disk X have the section Advanced options. How to force Fusion to expand Advanced options upon opening settings entry?

One question, but where have you seen in any other product (vmware) that such a thing can be done?

The advanced options are a submenu of each individual setting. the only way that comes to mind is that you can create a batch in PowerCli that calls up a menu and opens the advanced option ... I guess something like that.

For myself there is no need for comparisons with competing solutions. If provided implementation results in significant decrease of productivity improvement doesn't need additional conditions to take place. Concept as in my complaint here can't be found in eg. Oracle solution, for instance compare for v.m. settings storage section.
