Ours was also a quick an easy migration. Apple VPP is now integrated into Business manager, so you can accomplish both tasks in one place. The migration did not affect our current DEP configurations in Airwatch.
1) No, it will migrate your deploy.apple.com account to business.apple.com for you.
2) Mine was quick and easy. There are some after steps to complete but nothing really changes along the way. The information is just presented different and you have more flexibility.

After upgrading to Apple Business Manager I purchased an APP with no problem, however I was not able to get it into my Airwatch MDM so that I could deploy it to my device. How do I get ABM to work with AIrwatch? Do I need to re-download a new token from ABM to Airwatch since it has the old legacy token? Is there a recommended procedure?
Thanks
Dale
usualy it isn't an issue when you have only one vpp agent, but at our side the multiagent migration to abm fckd up the app deployment. we had to hard migrate by undeploying and redeploy all apps, also included the migration to the new abm token, since wso throws an error when you try to import the new location based token over an existing user based token.
@dale h.
the abm migration has (usualy) nothing to do with the wso/airwatch login.
