I want to use a Win10prof/64 guest on a Win10prof/64 host. I just downloaded vmware workstation 15.5 for this.
Ryzen 5, 32GB RAM,...
I installed a M.2 SSD which archieves in AS SSD Benchmark a score of more than 5000 on the host.
Run on the guest (4 cores, 16GB RAM, 500GB SCSI in one file), the score is only 839. It seems that the high performance from the SDD is pressed down to a HDD-Level.
as these are synthecial tests, I also run my main application on both guest and host. It takes great advantage of a super fast mass storage system. I measured about three times longer timespans for the various jobs of that software, making the whole application slow.
Is there any hint? Have I done something wrong?
