Whats the immflex filter driver used for

I never noticed this before there is a immflex filter driver installed on with DEM, what purpose does it solve the product? I know how it works in related to appvolumes, but I'm having trouble seeing a DEM feature. immflex.sys has been around since UEM 9.0. It's used for application blocking, privilege elevation, and – in SyncTool scenarios – for actual file system filtering .
