vCenter/ESXi compatibility

I think I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to get cofirmation.

vCenter = 6.5 u2 (9451637)

ESXi Hosts = 6.5 u2 (10884925)

Can I update our ESXi hosts to 6.5 u3 without updating vCenter?

Yes you can. Components (vCenter & ESXi) of any release of vSphere 6.5 (+ Ux) supports each other

awbruso,

It's a supported solution, but if you're using vSAN you should not do it without updating vCenter first.
