I am having issues trying to delete a file in my datastore that is taking up 800gb of my storage i am getting error.

is the error im getting each time i try to remove it.
That's a virtual disk file with user data. Are you sure that you want to delete it? If yes, make sure that the VM that uses it is powered off, i.e. that the file is not locked by an active process.
