Can we pull the Storage VMotion or Storage DRS logs from VMware log insight ?

Hi All,

I'm looking to pull the Storage VMotion or Storage DRS logs from VMware log insight  to audit what cuased the storage exhausted.

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

Probably not getting that unless you've integrated vCenter with Log Insight, and I don't mean the built-in integration from the vRLI GUI side, I mean using the agent on the vCSA to forward all application/service logs. Have you done this?

I can see VMotion logs but no Storage vmotion logs. Do i need to set query ?

I don't know where those are stored or what's actually logged when an svMotion occurs. You can self-discover this by manually initiating an svMotion in your vSphere and go check vRLI to see what info is captured. If you're not seeing anything, you probably don't have the agent configured on vCenter to forward the necessary logs.
