As of November 19th, Skyline has strengthened security policies and subsequently, Skyline Advisor service explicit grant access is required.
If you no longer have access to https://skyline.vmware.com/advisor please contact your respective Cloud Services organization owners or the VMware Skyline team at https://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/skyline/.
If you are an Organization Owner and you do not have access to Skyline Advisor, please contact the Skyline Community.
Below is a screenshot of the correct way to grant access to Skyline Advisor and Collector services in VMware Cloud Services Platform.
Resolution
The steps to complete this process are as follows:
- Log in to VMware Cloud Services.
- Click on Console (top right-hand corner).
- Click on Identity & Access Management.
- Click the checkbox next to the User for whom you need to grant Skyline Advisor service access to, then click Edit Roles.
- Click Add Service Access, then choose the Skyline Advisor service role.
- Click Save.
