Help retrieving VCSA 5.5 License Key

Hello,

After searching the web endlessly I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. Hopefully someone here might be able to help or tell me my ambitions aren't worth pursuing.

Basically the 5.5 vCenter Appliance we were using to manage our server infrastructure is dead in the water and we've just decided to re-deploy a new one. However we'll require the license key from the old appliance. With the web client down on the old appliance, is there a way to retrieve the license from it so that we may use the license again?

I have found the license files in the /usr/lib/vmware-vpx/licenses/site/ directory. But it appears that all the keys are hashed, and there are many files. Is there a command to return the currently assigned licenses on the appliance without hash?

You should have the license key in your MyVMware portal (or someone at your company does). They/you need to login and retrieve the key for vCenter Server 5.x.
