We found a issue while using Workstation Player on multible CentOS 7 machines using smartcard authentication.
Removing the smartcard executes : "/usr/libexec/kde4/kscreenlocker_greet --immediateLock" to lock the screen.
Environment:
HostOS: CentOS 7.5 - 7.7
GuestOS in VMplayer 14.1.5 - 15.5.1 - Windows 10
Special - CentOS 7 autheticate agains Active Directory with Smartcard,
Problem:
If the VMplayer window is the active window while removing the smartcard ( which executes /usr/libexec/kde4/kscreenlocker_greet --immediateLock )
all keyboard entrys are executed in the VMplayer guest OS however you can see the CentOS system lock screen.
Not until you click on password window from CentOS lock screen, your keyboard intakes are accepted by the lock screen.
I really appreciate any idea on this issue..
