I have VMWare Fusion 11.1.1 on a MacbookPro with macOS Mojave 10.14.6. It only runs a Windows 10 VM. Because of some hanging Windows update process, the VM wouldn't shut down, so I force quit Fusion. Now, whenever I start Fusion, it says that the VM is running, but it has no window and no way to restart or shut it down. I can suspend it, but that doesn't do anything.
I tried to fix it myself by opening the package content of the VM in Finder and moved the ".lck" folders someplace else. But that didn't help - Fusion just creates a new ".lck" folder the next time.
How do I restart this VM?
