How to clone or make a template of a VM of just C drive

Hi,

I have a VM with two Drives (C & F) but I would like to clone or make a template of only C drive excluding the F drive.

Is it possible to make a clone or a template as mentioned above?

Thanks in advance

No you can't. A Clone will create a vm with the same config as the original one.

You could create the clone, then remove the virtual disk from the clone that contains the F drive - so long as there's nothing in the OS/app configuration that refers to an F drive (which will no longer be present)

You can clone individual disk, then create empty vm and attach cloned disk.
