VMware Workstation 15 Player suspends automatically when laptop switches to battery mode

Hi all,

I am using VMware Workstation 15 Player to run a Workstation 9.x VM, as are several other colleagues and we have all noticed that when we unplug a laptop from the docking station the VM instantly goes to suspend state.

We all use identical laptops and run other VM's with no problems. We only use this particular VM for two pieces of software and the problem occurs with or without these programs running.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

Joe
