Why exporting a VM as ova, loses some property from it's VMX file

I have a VM where I modified few properties in the vmx file.

I can see the property, to verify I created clone as well and there also the properties are visible.

Now when I export it using ovftool, and then re-deploy it, I don't see those properties,

is there any reason for this behavior?

Is there any parameter which can solve this issue while exporting using ovftool ?
